The National Night Out is quickly approaching. Join us on August 1st from 6:00 to 8:00pm in the Country Club Hills Pool parking lot.
What is National Night Out? National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that’s held across the country to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This is an opportunity to show neighborhood spirit and strengthen our partnerships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure our Fairfax City community remains a safe place to live.
There will be music, refreshments, fun hands-on activities and games for kids and adults, and free popsicles! Representatives from the City of Fairfax Police and Fire units will stop by (so be ready to hop on the firetruck and check out the police cruiser), and we're planning a special guest visit from Fairfox, our Fairfax City mascot. This is also a great opportunity to chat with our Mayor, City Council members and neighbors! We are working towards getting a Food Truck on-site to make dinner plans easier for you...more info to follow. Please check back for updates.
